The Staffing Network had an extremely successful ribbon cutting ceremony for their new office in Elgin. Thanks to all of the legislators, the mayor, and their chiefs of staff who welcomed the business back into town! Temporary Staffing agencies employ thousands of people in the Elgin area.
For the Elgin office ribbon cutting, the elected officials who attended included: Mayor Dave Kaptain, Senator Cristina Castro, Representative Anna Moeller, Representative Steve Andersson, and Senator Karen McConnaughay’s Chief of Staff - Lesli Melendy.
We want to thank all the SSAI members who came to Springfield on Tuesday, April 10, to meet with legislators like Rep. Luis Arroyo and many others to talk about the issues important to our industry.

SSAI is always on the lookout for harmful legislation

SSAI is always on the lookout for legislation that can be harmful to the temporary staffing firms regulated by the Day and Temporary Labor Services Act.

Such is the case when the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission proposed new paperwork requirements for staffing firms to report work comp insurance information. The requirements were intended to affect only employee leasing companies however our industry fell into the requirements also. Using a proactive stance we met with the Commission and the requirements will no longer be implemented.

SSAI Membership

To qualify for membership to Staffing Services Association of Illinois (SSAI) you will be required to be in compliance with the SSAI Code Of Ethics enacted by the founding members of the SSAI.

Requirements and Access

All members are also required to be properly licensed with the State of Illinois, Department of Labor, and (if required) with your local municipality. Once your annual membership dues are determined and paid you will be given access to "members only" pages on this site and will be included in our benefits and services.
